Two days ago I lost my internet connection.
Due to the rain and wind, my beautiful flowers fell from the window. Now they are somewhere three floors below…
I spent 75€ in the uniform sweater…
It’s so cold that my hands are red and ache a lot…
Tomorrow I have my Dutch test and I have not studied enough…

This afternoon I went to Hoboken, a village near Antwerpen. In this village the story of Nello and Patrasche (A Dog of Flanders) takes place. To be honest, I did not know about this story, but it seems very popular in Korea and Japan. Since I had nothing better to do, I went there and visited the monument.
If you are planning to go, it is relatively easy: take the number 2 tram and get off at the last stop. Then walk following the tram lane until you find Kapelstraat (on the left). It’s in the beginning of the street.
This may seem a stupid explanation, but for me the way to reach Kapelstraat is not obvious. It is a long street and the monument is really small. It happened to me that I went to the closest map and looked where Kapelstraat was. I read I had to walk until Jozef Leemanslaan and then turn right. I walked a lot (about 30-40 mins) but I couldn’t find the monument since I was going in the opposite direction!
Fortunately I found a church with a girl outside, and I asked her where the monument was. 
I enjoyed the visit, although Hoboken is not a stunning place. There were some attractions for children in the street so I guess it was unusually lively. I took a Cola (een Cola, alstublieft) and then a delicious slice of cake in a Patisserie.

Esta tarde fui a Hoboken, un pueblecito cercano a Amberes. Es aquí donde tiene lugar la historia de Nello y Patrasche (El perro de Flandes). A decir verdad, yo no conocía esta historia, pero parece ser muy popular en Corea y Japón. Ya que no tenía nada mejor que hacer, fui allí y visité el monumento.
Si quieres ir, es relativamente sencillo: coge el tranvía número dos y bajate en la ultima parada. Despues camina siguiendo las vías del tranvía hasta que encuentres Kapelstraat (a la izquierda)

Sé que puede parecer una explicación tonta, pero para mí la manera de llegar a Kapelstraat no es tan obvia. Es una calle muy larga y el monumentod es francamente pequeño. Me pasó que fui al mapa más cercano y busqué donde estaba Kapelstraat. No vi toda la calle, entonces concluí que debía caminar hasta Jozef Leemanslaan y después girar a la derecha. Caminé mucho (bueno, unos 30-40 minutos) pero no encontré el monumento. ¡Estaba yendo en la dirección equivocada!
Afortunadamente encontré una iglesia con una chica por fuera y le pregunté el camino
Me lo pasé bien visitando Hoboken, aunque no es un pueblo que quite el habla. Había atracciones para los niños en la calle así que supongo que estaba extraordinariamente viva. Me tomé una coca-cola y después una deliciosa tarta en una Patisserie cercana.
